Disclaimer: Linocut printmaking is painfully imperfect craft and lends itself to a variety hiccups. Sometimes the inevitable imperfection makes its way onto the print, the same way that a movie shot on film might leave a grain texture on the reel. I, personally, adore this about the medium and think the “warts-and-all” aspect of the process is what separates it from artwork that’s snapped to a tidy grid on a computer. That being said, while the entire edition was made with perfection as the end-goal and every print was made and approved by me (Ryan), nothing in this world comes out truly perfect. Hopefully, I can pass along my little attempt at perfection to you
